Regarding the corona vaccination, the official said, “The initial information received from the states and union territories is very positive and we have seen that in most of the states, about 80 percent of the teachers and non-teaching staff have taken the first or both doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines.” have taken.

In fact, on Tuesday, the Ministry of Education had asked all the states and union territories to complete the first dose of corona vaccination in September to all teachers and non-teaching personnel.

Along with this, when an official was asked whether the government would soon allow the states to open schools for all classes. In response, he said, “There are many variables including infection rate, hospitalization, spread of vaccination, which will determine the full or gradual opening of schools.”

He said that the higher rate of vaccination will certainly provide a certain level of assurance but there are many other factors which have to be taken into account and the states will have to take a decision on the matter after considering those factors.

Earlier, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had said on Wednesday regarding the corona vaccination that more than two crore additional doses of anti-Kovid-19 vaccine are being provided to the states this month and they will be asked on priority basis before Teacher’s Day on September 5. But all school teachers have been asked to vaccinate.
