The research report uses the increasing number of Omicron cases in several other countries, including data from the first and second wave that have arrived in India, to estimate a possible third wave in the country. Researchers say in the report, that according to the study, the cases had increased after 735 days from the starting date 30 January 2020. Therefore, the cases of corona have started increasing around 15th December 2021 and this third wave will peak on Thursday 3rd February 2022.
