CM Yogi’s big decision, now ministers get expensive gifts, will be deposited in the government treasury

Lucknow | UP News: After the massive victory in the UP assembly elections, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken many big decisions and is constantly engaged in bringing transparency and eradicating corruption in the state. Under this policy, CM Yogi has now taken another big step and has refused to accept any kind of expensive gift to his ministers. Apart from this, before being honored by any institution, it will be mandatory to take its approval.

Expensive gift will have to be deposited in the government account of the state
UP News: To curb corruption in the state, this formula of CM Yogi will be applicable to all the ministers. The Chief Minister has told the ministers that if anyone accepts a gift costing more than Rs 5000, it will be treated as a government property and that gift will have to be deposited in the government treasury.

Permission must be obtained before being awarded
UP News: Apart from this, as per the instructions of CM Yogi, that institution or organization must be investigated before attending any honor ceremony. It is to be ascertained that there is no allegation against the institution or organization. Along with this, permission will be mandatory to be honored by foreign institutions as well. In such a situation, it is believed that with this decision of CM Yogi, transparency between the public and the government and the accountability of the public servants to the people will remain.
