Modi and Uddhav shared the stage

Mumbai, After a long time, finally Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray met. On Tuesday, both the leaders shared the stage at two different places in Mumbai. Although there were two controversies in this visit of the Prime Minister, but there was intimacy between Modi and Thackeray at both places. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s son and his government minister Aaditya Thackeray also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, earlier the Prime Minister’s security agency had tried to stop him, due to which there was a controversy.

However, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Jalbhushan Building at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai. There Modi and Uddhav shared the stage together. Earlier, on his arrival in Mumbai, Modi was received by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. After this, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray reached Colaba’s Naval Heliport to receive him. Earlier, on April 25, about two months ago, when Prime Minister Lata Mangeshkar was on a tour of Maharashtra to receive the award, Uddhav did not attend his program.

It is worth mentioning that in the last assembly elections BJP and Shiv Sena had fought together but there was a dispute between the two over sharing of power, after which Shiv Sena formed the government with NCP and Congress. However, this meeting of Uddhav Thackeray with Prime Minister Modi has happened exactly two years later. Earlier, the two met on June 8, 2021. Then Uddhav Thackeray reached New Delhi with a delegation of the state government.

However, there were two controversies during Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Mumbai. The first controversy took place when the SPG tried to drop Aaditya Thackeray from Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s car. Uddhav Thackeray got angry on this, after which Aditya was allowed to go to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister spoke to Aaditya Thackeray for a long time and during this time he placed his hand on Aaditya’s shoulder. Similarly, in another program Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was not allowed to speak. NCP has expressed displeasure over this. In this visit, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Sant Tukaram Shila Temple in Pune.
