Congress walks out of Rajya Sabha after not being allowed to discuss China

new Delhi. Congress members on Monday once again demanded a discussion in the Rajya Sabha on the issue of China’s encroachment and staged a walkout from the House if it was not allowed. Raising the issue of China’s encroachment during the Zero Hour, Leader of the Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge said that on the instructions of the Chairman, the discussion on this subject can be held by postponing the rules. He said that the issue of encroachment by China is very important. China is doing bridges, houses, factories and other construction works.

Leader of the House Piyush Goyal opposed Kharge and said that no person should lower his dignity. The issue of China is repeatedly demanded to be discussed in this house. He said that in the year 2012, a Congress minister had accepted that China is occupying 38000 kms of Indian territory. Speaker Jagdeep Dhankhar insisted on raising the issues under the rules and said that the office of the Leader of the Opposition should read the rules properly. After this, Kharge started speaking loudly from his seat.

Meanwhile, other Congress members also stood near their seats and started speaking loudly. Meanwhile, the Chairman started the Zero Hour proceedings. Along with this, members of Congress and some other parties started raising slogans and walked out of the House in protest against not being allowed to discuss.
