Amir tweeted, ‘As far as I have heard, PCB chairman does not have a salary but there are benefits, maybe I have heard it wrong.’

Rameez Raja, in his address to club presidents on Wednesday, said that he had sacrificed a career to hold the position and he did so out of respect. According to the PCB chief, I have come to this cricket board without any salary. I will not get a single penny for the next three years. I have sacrificed my ongoing career to hold this position. The car I have is a 2008 model. I don’t regret that I don’t have a big house or a fancy car or money. Sometimes you have to play an innings to earn respect.

This has happened to Rameez Raja, but Aamir has always been in controversies. He has also been banned due to spot-fixing. He returned to international cricket in 2016. In December 2020, he surprised everyone by announcing his retirement from cricket. Amir has played 36 Tests, 61 ODIs and 50 T20 Internationals for Pakistan. He has 259 wickets to his name.
