New Delhi | Congress On Agnipath Scheme : Protests are taking place everywhere in the country regarding the new scheme ‘Agneepath’ of the Government of India. In social media, people are seen expressing their views openly on this plan. In such a situation, the Congress has termed the ‘Agneepath’ scheme as against the interest of the country. Congress says that this scheme should be withdrawn immediately and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the government should apologize to the youth of the country. The main opposition party also said that the age limit for army recruitment should be relaxed by three years and if needed, a special session of Parliament or an all-party meeting should be called to discuss the entire matter related to defense and army.

Congress On Agnipath Scheme : In this matter, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi made his point by tweeting. He said that Agneepath was rejected by the youth, agriculture law was rejected by the farmers, demonetisation was rejected by the economists, GST was rejected by the traders. He alleged that the Prime Minister does not understand what the people of the country want, because he does not hear anything except the voice of his ‘friends’. Party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tweeted that not even 24 hours passed that the BJP government had to change the rules of new army recruitment. Meaning, the scheme is being imposed on the youth in a hurry.

Congress MP said Prime Minister should apologise

Congress On Agnipath Scheme : Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that Narendra Modi ji, withdraw this scheme immediately, appoint and give results in the stalled recruitment of Air Force. Do army recruitment (by giving age relaxation) as before. Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda told reporters that this plan is not in the interest of the army. This is not in the interest of India. This government has got used to copying other countries. It cannot play with the interests of the army and the country. He said that more than two lakh posts are vacant in the army. The recruitment process should be started immediately. There can be no commercial interest in the country’s security, military and patriotism. He also said that the Prime Minister, the Defense Minister and the entire government should apologize to the youth of the country.
