The policy to eliminate work from home was announced in an email sent by the company on March 18 and remote workers were asked to return to the office by April 18. Following this decision of the company, about 800 employees who were ready to return to office, resigned from the start-up. More employees are expected to resign in the coming months.

The employees who resigned gave the reason that one month’s time was not enough for transfer. ‘Some have children, some have old and sick parents, while others have other responsibilities. It is not right to call back the employees in such a short span of time. Apart from this, salary is also a reason for his resignation. According to an employee, at the time of recruitment, the employees were told that Whitehat Jr. has offices in Gurugram, Mumbai and Bangalore. They have to work in these places. After working from home for about two years, their salary should increase so that they can afford to live in these expensive cities.
