Kapil Sharma – A Comedian, A Singer, An Actor and a lot more. In one sentence he is multi talented artist. Nothing more, nothing less than it.
Kapil rose to fame after winning the comedy reality television show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2007.
In 2013, Kapil launched his own show, Comedy Nights with Kapil, under his banner K9 Productions on Colors.
Kapil made his Bollywood debut as the male lead in the movie Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, a romantic-comedy directed by Abbas Mustan.
After the end of Comedy Nights with Kapil, Kapil signed a contract with Sony TV for a new show called The Kapil Sharma Show. Its last episode was aired on 24 January 2016. After that he started working on Sony Entertainment Television for The Kapil Sharma Show under his K9 Productions. The Kapil Sharma Show started airing on 23 April 2016 & received a positive response from the viewers.
His second movie Firangi was released on 1 December 2017. Directed by Rajiev Dhingra.
In March 2017, during their return flight from Melbourne, when Sunil Grover, his co-actor, tried to intervene, Sharma had reportedly used some offensive words. Nobody explained what really happened during the flight with overly exaggerated media reports doing rounds. Subsequently, Grover, along with Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar, Sugandha Mishra quit The Kapil Sharma Show. However, Chandan Prabhakar returned after few week.
In 2018 Kapil Sharma has been on an abusive Twitter rant since April 6, Friday. A few of the tweets had abusive language in Hindi.
Kapil had faced such controversies. Even After airing only 3 episodes, Sony TV had decided to pull the plug on Kapil Sharma’s 3rd show, Family Time With Kapil Sharma.
After jumping from one controversy to another, he decided it was best for him to lay low for some time.
Kapil has tried his best to put a smile on our face. But today his smile is lost somewhere. Few days ago Kapil was reportedly spotted at a grocery store in Amsterdam. In the picture now going viral, Kapil seems to have gained a lot of weight.
As a comedian he never missed any chance to make us laugh, so we should help him in his tough time. We can’t do anything more, but let’s just stop discussing about his controversies and let’s help him for his comeback. After all we’re missing his Comedy Show.
