Rahul Dravid on Virat Kohli: In Test cricket, Team India’s regular captain Virat Kohli did not play in the second match of the series against South Africa due to being unfit. He was captained by KL Rahul in the second Test of the series played in Johannesburg. This match was not good for Rahul and Team India had to face defeat by 7 wickets. KL Rahul has said that Virat Kohli has started practicing in the nets and he should be fit for the decider of the Test series against South Africa. Captain Kohli could not play in the second Test due to stiffness in his upper back.

Rahul said after the match, ‘Virat is feeling better than before, has been practicing and running in the nets for the last few days. I think he should be fine. Head coach Rahul Dravid also informed about Kohli’s fitness later in a conversation with reporters.

India scored 202 in their first innings and 266 in their second innings, while South Africa scored 229 runs in the first innings to take a 27-run lead.
