China’s military exercise against Taiwan

New Delhi, After the return of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from Taiwan, China has shown aggressive attitude and started military exercises against Taiwan. He has simultaneously conducted military exercises and fired missiles at sea as far as Taiwan. It is being told that China has conducted military exercises in six places and its fighter planes and helicopters have flown in the territory of Taiwan.

Regarding China’s military exercise, Taiwan’s Defense Ministry has claimed that the People’s Liberation Army of China has fired 11 ballistic missiles near the northeast and southwest coast of Taiwan. Taiwan has said that it does not want war but is ready for it. Meanwhile, it is reported that about 50 international flights to and from Taiwan have been cancelled. Transport at sea was also affected and many ships were diverted due to China’s military exercises and ballistic missile firing. There are reports of movement of many ships being stopped.

On the other hand, it is also reported that five out of 11 ballistic missiles fired by China have fallen in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of Japan. Japan’s Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi said that this was the first time this had happened. He has lodged a protest against this incident through diplomatic channel.
