Under which applications are invited for those foreign nationals and their relatives who want to return to China to resume work in all sectors. This move is news of relief for thousands of Indians and their families who have been stranded in the country since 2020. Last month, several Indian workers living in China called on External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar to allow him to return to China.

The Chinese embassy said that apart from Indians, family members of Chinese and foreign nationals will now be able to apply for visas to visit their relatives who have permanent permits in China. Apart from Indians, some Chinese employees working for various companies were also stranded in India due to visa restrictions and flight cancellations in Beijing. They can go too.

However, the Chinese embassy clarified that visa services for tourism and personal purposes will remain closed for the time being. China in April allowed some Indian students to return from India after long-running talks. It asked the embassy in New Delhi to collect the details of the returnees. According to different reports, when the corona pandemic broke out in China in December 1999, around 23,000 Indians were stranded in India. Most of them were students studying in Chinese colleges and universities.
