Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s instructions to the officers

Ranchi. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that there is a drought situation in the state this year due to less rainfall, so the officials should take special care that there is no migration of farmers and laborers.

The Chief Minister said this during the review of 6 major schemes of the Rural Development Department. These schemes are- MNREGA, the process of appointment under MNREGA, Birsa Harit Gram Yojana, Veer Shaheed Poto Ho Vikas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar housing schemes, inquired about the progress and gave necessary instructions.

The Chief Minister asked the officers that maximum employment should be created and the schemes should be implemented on a large scale. Hemant Soren said that geo mapping of schemes should also be done. The Chief Minister said that site inspection of the schemes would also be done. Under the Birsa Harit Gram Yojana, 16.58 lakh fruit trees and 2.72 lakh timber plants have been planted. Under Veer Shaheed Poto Ho Vikas Yojana 3371 schemes have been given out of which 1041 have been completed.

The Chief Minister gave instructions to complete the pending schemes by November 15. Instructions have also been given to take this scheme in every Panchayat. The target is to build more than 16 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin. In this, the construction of 81% houses has been completed. While the work of about 2 lakh 90 thousand houses is pending. The same central government has sanctioned 1 lakh 75 thousand new houses.

Under Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Awas Yojana, the target is to build 11 thousand 155 houses this year. In this 62100 houses have been approved. (talk)
