Chhath 2022: Auspicious yoga is being made on Kharna, today all wishes will be fulfilled by worship
New Delhi | Chhath 2022: Mahaparv Chhath 2022 has started from tomorrow. Today is the second day of this four-day long festival which is also known as ‘Kharna’ (kharna puja 2022). Kharna has great importance in Chhath Puja. The worship of Chhath Vratis starts from this day itself.
Chhath 2022: On the day of Kharna, Chhath Vratis observe fasting. Chhath Vratis and family go to the Ganges Ghats with complete purity and full faith. Today Gangajal has a special significance in Chhath Puja Prasad.

Chhath Puja on the day of Kharna
Kheer is made by mixing milk and Gangajal, jaggery and Arva rice on the day of Kharna. Jaggery also has special significance on this day.
Wheat flour bread is made along with Kheer.
The offerings made on Chhath are made on the flame of mango wood.
Chhath Vratis fasting for the whole day make offerings of jaggery kheer and roti in the evening.
In the evening, at the time of sunset, Lord Surya Narayan and Chhath Maiya are worshipped.
On the worship of Kharna, separate offerings are made to the Lord on a banana leaf.
If banana leaves are not available, Kharna is offered to Lord Surya even in an earthen pot.
After performing Kharna by Chhath Vrat, the Prasad taken out for the Sun God is given to all the family members and people.
After Kharna, Chhath fasting fast for 36 hours.

Chhath 2022: According to astrology, this time a very auspicious yoga has been formed on the day of Kharna, which has come after many years. Kharna takes place on Panchami Tithi but today is Chauth till 10:28 am. Today is Saturday. When Saturday is the day of Chauth, the date gets changed. On this day, any auspicious work or worship of any kind leads to accomplishment and every wish is fulfilled. With this, Mool Nakshatra is ascending from 12:05 am today. The time of Kharna will be in Mool Nakshatra which is considered very auspicious.
