Chandigarh | Charanjit Singh Channi Resignation: After being badly defeated at the hands of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party in the Punjab assembly elections 2022, there is a sense of despair in the Congress. The most surprising thing is that the current Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi could not save both the seats himself. Congress state president Navjot Singh Sidhu, who has consistently shown aggressive attitude in Punjab, also got upset. Now after being defeated from all sides, outgoing Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi has submitted his resignation to the Governor.

Charanjit Singh Channi Resignation: Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi has accepted his defeat and after submitting his resignation to the Governor said that, I have given my resignation to the Governor. He has asked me and the cabinet to continue till the new government is sworn in. I accept the mandate of the people.

Channi said – I will always be present to serve the people
Punjab CM Channi is disappointed after flying in the storm of ‘AAP’ but is always ready to serve the public. He said that my party and I will always be present to serve the people of Punjab. We will continue to do our duty and be among them. I request the new government to continue with the public welfare projects and schemes launched in the last 111 days.
