Chandrababu Naidu attended the funeral of senior TDP leader, died 2 days ago

Vijayawada, May 09. Senior TDP leader and former minister Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy passed away in Andhra Pradesh on Friday. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu attended the last rites of the senior party leader on Sunday. Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy was cremated with full state honours.

Naidu was one of those who attended the funeral procession of his close aide. Besides Chandrababu Naidu, Energy Minister Peddyreddy Ramachandra Reddy, Tirupati MP M Gurumurthy, Srikalahasti MLA B Madhusudan Reddy, former ministers Nara Lokesh, Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and others attended the last rites.

Bojjala died on Friday due to chronic illness while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad. His family suffered another setback when his mother-in-law Devamma also died during treatment in Hyderabad on Saturday night. She was 102 years old. His last rites were performed on Sunday evening at the Mahaprasthanam crematorium in Srikalahasti.
