The organizing of Ranji Trophy has started from Thursday at venues across the country. In such a situation, there is a great opportunity for young cricketers to show their talent.

A lot of effort was put behind the scenes to get our first-class cricket back on track and now it is time for red ball cricket to become an attraction. Best wishes to all. Let us inform that the first tournament was to start from January 13 but it was postponed due to the third wave of the pandemic across the country.

Organizing in two phases

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah: This is the first time that Ranji Trophy is being organized in two phases. The first phase started from Thursday and will continue till March 15. This top domestic competition will then have a break during the Indian Premier League and will be played again from May 30 to June 26. In the tournament, the team is divided into eight elite and one plate group. The tournament will be conducted in a safe environment of Bio Bubble.
