‘Captain’ is ‘out’, Ajit Singh Pal of Aam Aadmi Party defeated by huge votes

Chandigarh | Captain Amrinder Singh: Captain Amarinder Singh’s wicket has fallen in the Punjab Assembly Election 2022. Kejriwal’s ‘broom’ has wiped out the Congress, as well as the blame of this annihilation has also fallen on Captain Amarinder Singh and the lion of his stronghold has been decimated. Kejriwal has done such a sweep in Punjab that, including Congress, BJP, Shiromani Akali Dal have all been blown away.

Captain Amarinder accepts defeat
This is an extraordinary victory of AAP in Punjab. ‘Aam Aadmi Party’ candidate Ajit Singh Pal Kohli defeated Amarinder Singh by a huge margin of 19 Thousand 667 votes. Captain Amarinder has accepted this defeat and congratulated Bhagwant Mann. Let us inform you that Captain Amarinder Singh had won from Patiala City seat in 2017 by a margin of 52 Thousand 407 votes. Then he defeated Aapa’s doctor Balbir Singh.

4-time MLA got out in his own stronghold
Captain Amrinder Singh: The Patiala Urban seat has been the family stronghold of Captain Amarinder Singh. Captain has become MLA from here for 4 consecutive times in 2002, 2007, 2012 and 2017. Apart from this, in 2014, Amarinder Singh contested from Amritsar Lok Sabha seat and after winning he had to give up his assembly seat. His wife Preneet Kaur won the by-election from the seat left behind.
