Capt Amarinder Singh can form a new party, can harm Congress in assembly elections

Amidst the political turmoil in Punjab, Punjab in-charge Harish Rawat said that, from the statements of Amarinder Singh for 2-3 days, it seems that he is under some kind of pressure.

Assembly elections are due in Punjab next year. In such a situation, the problem of Congress has started increasing due to the political turmoil in the state. First the resignation of Captain Amarinder Singh from the post of Chief Minister, and then the resignation of Punjab Congress State President Navjot Singh Sidhu, all these developments have created trouble for the Congress. In such a situation, now the news is coming out that in the coming days, Captain Amarinder Singh can form his new party.

Captain can also form a new party: After meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday, Amarinder Singh has made it clear that he is not going to the BJP and neither is he to the Congress. At the same time, sources say that about a dozen Congress leaders and some farmer leaders are also in touch with Captain Amarinder Singh. It is believed that Amarinder Singh can form a new party.

Congress may have to bear the loss: Captain Amarinder Singh is said to have played a key role in the Congress’s victory in the 2017 Punjab Assembly elections. But even before the elections to be held in 2022, the Captain has left the Congress, and the party also seems to be divided into two factions. On the other hand, if Amarinder Singh also strikes a chord with the new party, then it is possible that the Congress will have to face heavy losses in the upcoming assembly elections.

Harish Rawat said- The pressure on the captain At the same time, in the midst of this political turmoil, Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Rawat said about the captain in Dehradun that, “The statements that have come from Amarinder Singh for 2-3 days, it seems that he is under some kind of pressure. The ruling party (BJP) whom the farmers of Punjab, the people of Punjab consider as anti-Punjab, want to use Amarinder Singh as a mask.”

He said, “I want to say again that so far, reconsider what Captain Amarinder Singh has said and do not help the anti-farmer, anti-Punjab party like BJP, directly or indirectly.
