Prepaid Mobile Recharge to Cost More: After expensive petrol diesel and expensive vegetables, now talking on mobile phone and surfing the net on mobile has become expensive. Not only this, you will also have to spend more money for the data spent for work from home with online classes of children.

Now mobile recharge too expensive

In fact, two out of three private telecom companies in the country have made the prepaid plan of mobile phones expensive. Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea have made prepaid tariffs costlier by 20 to 25 percent. Airtel’s tariff is going to be expensive from November 26 and Vodafone Idea’s tariff from November 25. It is believed that soon Reliance Jio can also increase the tariff. In such a situation, you will have to spend more money for mobile recharge.

Earlier in December 2019, telecom companies had decided to increase the tariff. Actually in India it is believed that mobile tariff is the cheapest in the world. Telecom companies have repeatedly demanded the regulator TRAI to make a base tariff, which TRAI has rejected. But Airtel Vodafone Idea was refraining from increasing the tariff due to competition from Reliance Jio.

But now the cost of companies was increasing, so they have no option but to increase the tariff. Next year they also have to participate in the bidding for 5G spectrum, for which they need money.

Telecom sector had to pay bailout package

Recently, in view of the poor financial condition of Vodafone Idea, the government has had to announce a bailout package so that it can be saved from the financial crisis.
