Three child laborers scorched in Hazaribagh

Hazaribagh. Three child laborers were badly burnt after falling into a pan of boiling oil on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday at a factory for making namkeen and laddus in Hazari Bagh, Jharkhand.

Hazaribagh Superintendent of Police Manoj Ratan fourth said that the police is investigating the incident and finding out how the child laborers were working in the factory despite the ban on child labor.

The three children have been admitted to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi for treatment, where their condition remains critical. These children include 14-year-old Pintu Kumar, 12-year-old Ranjan Kumar and 15-year-old Nitesh Kumar Manjhi. All three are residents of Bihar.
