Bumper in the share market, Bajaj Finance and TCS benefit the most, LIC-HUL loses

Share Market: Last week, there was a bumper rally in the Indian stock market. After a long time, the Sensex closed beyond 57 thousand. Nifty also managed to close above 17,000. Bajaj Finance and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) benefited the most from the strong rally in the market. The market capitalization (market cap) of eight of the top 10 Sensex companies collectively increased by Rs 1,91,622.95 crore last week. Last week, the 30-share BSE Sensex gained 1,498.02 points or 2.67 per cent.

Bajaj Finance capitalization rises by Rs 57,673 crore

Among the Sensex companies, Bajaj Finance’s market capitalization rose by Rs 57,673.19 crore to Rs 4,36,447.88 crore. The market valuation of TCS increased by Rs 47,494.49 crore to Rs 12,07,779.68 crore. HDFC Bank’s market cap rose by Rs 23,481.09 crore to Rs 7,97,251.18 crore and Infosys rose by Rs 18,219 crore to Rs 6,52,012.91 crore. The valuation of HDFC rose by Rs 14,978.42 crore to Rs 4,31,679.65 crore and that of State Bank of India (SBI) rose by Rs 12,940.69 crore to Rs 4,71,397.99 crore. The market capitalization of ICICI Bank rose by Rs 12,873.62 crore to Rs 5,69,400.43 crore and that of Reliance Industries Ltd. rose by Rs 3,962.45 crore to Rs 16,97,208.18 crore.

Loss to LIC and Hindustan Unilever

Despite the bumper rally in the market, the market capitalization of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) fell by Rs 7,020.75 crore to Rs 4,28,739.97 crore. Hindustan Unilever’s market valuation lost Rs 810.61 crore and came down to Rs 6,19,551.97 crore.

Reliance Industries retains first place

In the list of top 10 companies, Reliance Industries retained the first position. It was followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever, ICICI Bank, SBI, Bajaj Finance, HDFC and LIC respectively. Experts are expecting a rise in the market next week also. In such a situation, the capitalization of many companies will increase further.
