Bulldozer action, Supreme Court seeks answer

New Delhi, In Uttar Pradesh, the Supreme Court has sought a response from the state government on the action of bulldozers on the accused at homes. Although the Supreme Court did not stay any action, but made a strong comment on the action of the state government, saying that the work should be done according to the law. The Supreme Court has given the state government three days to file the affidavit. In this, information related to the demolition of buildings has been sought.

Hearing the petition filed by Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, the Supreme Court made a strong comment and said – action should be taken according to law. The Uttar Pradesh government should ensure that no untoward incident happens during this period. After this, the court further said – without notice, bulldozer action cannot be taken, but the court cannot stop the action of bulldozer. Can just ask the government to take action as per law. The next hearing will be on June 21.

A bench of Justice AS Bopanna and Justice Vikram Nath is hearing the petition of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind. Jamiat has demanded to stop the action of bulldozers. Along with this, it has also been said that action should be taken against the officials who vandalize the houses illegally. During the hearing, Jamiat said that the government has taken action of bulldozer without giving any notice. It is worth noting that after the prayers on the last two Fridays, the protesters protested at many places and took out processions. During this, there was vandalism at many places, due to which the houses of some of the accused have been demolished by bulldozers.
