Union Budget 2022: The budget session of Parliament will start from January 31 and the budget of the country will be presented on January 1. The budget session will start in two phases from January 31 to April 8. On January 31, President Ram Nath Kovind will address both the houses of Parliament and on the same day the Economic Survey of the country will also be placed on the table of Parliament. On February 1, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the General Budget 2022-23.

Today, from the recommendations of the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs, it has come to the fore that the budget session of Parliament will run in two phases. The first part of the session will run from January 31 to February 11. After a gap of one month, the second part of the budget session will start from March 14 and will continue till April 8. The Finance Bill will be passed after discussion in Parliament in the second part of the budget session.
