BRICS: India’s Middle Road

‘BRICS’ means Brazil, Asia, India, China and South Africa! This international organization has been named by adding the first letters of the names of these countries. Its 14th summit was held this time in Beijing, as China is currently its president. The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi did not go to China to participate in this conference, but he participated in it sitting in Delhi. There is no need to give the reason for not going to China, although despite the Galvan dispute, there has been a considerable increase in Sino-India trade here.

India is the only nation in this organization of BRICS, which is a member of the new alliance of both the superpowers. India is a member of the quadrangle, which also includes the US, Japan and Australia, and is also a member of the new quadrangle, in which the US, Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are members. China openly says that both these factions are symbols of Cold War-mentalism. America has made these because it has to put up fronts against China and Russia from place to place.

This point has been reiterated by Chinese leader Xi Chin Fing in this BRICS summit as well, but India’s attitude is quite moderate. He neither takes the side of Russia and China nor America on the question of Ukraine! In this summit also, he has spoken of resolving all disputes through dialogue in Russia and Ukraine, which has also got a proper place in the joint statement. Similarly, Modi has welcomed new initiatives of increasing mutual cooperation among BRICS nations. What he has emphasized the most is the direct relation of the people of these nations with the people!

In this matter, there is no effective autonomous organization of India’s neighboring SAARC (SAARC) countries, so what to say about the direct contacts of the people of BRICS and quadruple countries? It is my endeavor that soon an organization of 16 neighboring nations of India can be formed in the name of ‘People’s SAARC’ (People’s SAARC). In the joint statement of BRICS, counter-terrorism has also been clearly stated and also called for Afghanistan’s help. It has also been said inappropriate by any other country to grow terrorism there.

China has let this anti-Pakistan idea go in the joint statement, it is India’s success. There are many differences among the BRICS members but they find no place in the joint statement. Some new nations also want to join BRICS. If the disputes between China and India can be resolved due to the membership of BRICS, then it can become the world’s most powerful organization, because 41 percent of the world’s people live in it, its total GDP is 24 percent and 16 percent of the world’s trade is also due to these nations. happens by.
