People gathered for the last darshan of Netaji

Saifai. The mortal remains of SP Patron Mulayam Singh Yadav will be cremated on Tuesday with state honors. His mortal remains have been kept at the fair fair ground at Saifai in Etawah. Masses have gathered here for the last darshan of Netaji. All the family members bid farewell to Netaji with moist eyes. There is a gathering of veterans and supporters for his darshan at the fair ground. Tight security arrangements have been made in Saifai for the funeral of Netaji at 3 pm on Tuesday.

The mortal remains of former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav were taken from his residence to Saifai Mahotsav Pandal on a chariot. During this, people on both sides of the road raised slogans of ‘Jab Tak Suraj Chand Rahega Netaji Ka Naam Rahega’. The Rath Yatra reached Saifai Pandal amid huge crowd and deafening slogans. Here his body is placed on the festival stage. People will come here for the last darshan and will go ahead after seeing their leader. Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, SP National General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav, Shivpal Yadav, former MP Dharmendra Yadav were also on the chariot.

Leaders and their fans from all over the country are reaching Saifai for the last glimpse of Netaji. Tight security arrangements have been made for the arrival of VVIPs at the airstrip. Police forces of many districts including Etawah, Auraiya, Mainpuri have been deployed. At the same time, the Air Force personnel have taken over the responsibility of security of the airstrip.

Mulayam Singh Yadav’s last rites will be performed with sandalwood sticks, as well as tribute will be paid to him with flowers of Kannauj. SP leaders have reached Saifai with a consignment of wood and flowers from the perfume city of Kannauj. Anshul Gupta, former state treasurer of Tirwa resident Samajwadi Vyapar Sabha, told that he had received a call from Saifai. On this, he has arranged for one and a half quintals of sandalwood wood. He has been stationed in Saifai since Monday night with a consignment of sandalwood and flowers. Anshul says that Netaji has heart relation with Kannauj. That is why many people from Kannauj are also reaching for their last darshan of Mulayam.

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will attend the last rites from the Congress side. Along with this, many big political leaders of the country, Chief Ministers of many states and other big leaders of the country will also have their last darshan. (IANS)
