After that 45 days in 20 crores, 29 days in 30 crores, 24 days in 40 crores, 20 days in 50 crores and now only 19 days have been taken to complete 60 crore vaccinations.

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, more than 59 crore corona vaccine doses have been given in the country so far. If we look at these figures number wise, then this figure is 59,55 04 593. 61 lakh thousand vaccine doses have been given in the last 26 hours.

First of all vaccination of health workers

In such a situation, according to the data of the Ministry of Health, according to the report of 7 pm on Tuesday, 38,29,038 people were given the first dose and 16,38,513 beneficiaries were given the second dose on the 221st day of the vaccination campaign.

According to this report, the countrywide vaccination drive was started on January 16, in which health workers (HCWs) were vaccinated first and frontline personnel (FLWs) were vaccinated from February 2.

Significantly, the next phase of corona vaccination started from March 1 for people above 60 years of age and people above 45 years of age suffering from serious diseases. At the same time, vaccination was started for all people above 45 years of age from 1 April in the country. After this, the government allowed vaccination to all eligible people above the age of 18 from May 1.
