SpiceJet plane makes emergency landing

New Delhi, The process of disturbances in the flights of cheap airline SpiceJet is not stopping. Despite the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) stopping the flight of 50 percent of the aircraft, there are disturbances. On Wednesday night, a SpiceJet flight made an emergency landing at the Hyderabad airport. After seeing smoke in the cabin and cockpit, it was decided to make an emergency landing.

The pilot alerted the air traffic controller. After this the ground staff was alerted and made a safe landing. DGCA said that SpiceJet’s Q400 aircraft was going from Goa to Hyderabad. There were 86 passengers on board the plane. After landing safely at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, passengers were deboarded from the emergency gate. During this, a passenger got a minor scratch on his leg. An inquiry has been ordered in this matter.

Nine flights were diverted at the Hyderabad airport at around 11 pm on Wednesday due to an emergency landing of a SpiceJet aircraft. These included domestic flights, international and cargo flights. A passenger has also shared some pictures during the landing. On July 27 this year, the DGCA had ordered the company to operate 50 per cent flights for the next eight weeks after several SpiceJet planes had an in-flight accident. Even before the eight-week deadline, the DGCA issued a new order last month, extending the ban till October 29.
