Bollywood: Amir’s ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ could not do anything amazing even on the weekend, ‘Raksha Bandhan’ is also in bad shape

Lal Singh Chaddha has not been able to join the club of 50 crores even in 5 days

Aamir Khan’s much-awaited and much-loved film Laal Singh Chaddha is not able to live up to the expectations of the makers and fans in terms of earnings, while not working as expected. Laal Singh Chaddha, which released on 11th August, has only disappointed so far and hasn’t done well at the box office so far.

Although it was expected that there might be an increase in the film’s earnings over the weekend, but alas, this could not happen. The special occasion and holiday of August 15 has not benefited the business of Lal Singh Chaddha. The earning figures for the fifth day of the film have been revealed.

According to trade reports, Lal Singh Chaddha has collected around Rs 45-46 crore till now, earning only 8 crores on the fifth day of release i.e. 15th August. In such a situation, Lal Singh Chaddha has not been able to join the club of 50 crores even in 5 days. Lal Singh Chaddha opened with a collection of 11.50 crores. The film’s second day business was the weakest. On the second day of release, Aamir’s film had earned only 6 to 7 crores. Whereas on Saturday, the film collected 8.50 crores with a growth of 20 percent and on Sunday the film earned Rs 10 crores.

Talking about the film, Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of Hollywood classic movie Forrest Gump. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role along with Aamir. Aamir and Kareena have reunited in this film after 3 Idiots. At the same time, Akshay Kumar’s Rakshabandhan has also not shown anything special and is behind Lal Singh Chaddha in terms of earnings. In such a situation, the poor box office collection of the films of two big Bollywood superstars is going to disappoint.
