Kushinagar | Boat Drowned in Kushinagar: A major accident took place on Wednesday in Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Here a boat full of laborers overturned in the Narayani river in the Khadda area of ​​the district. In which 10 people drowned in the river. 3 people died in this accident.

Boat Drowned in Kushinagar: According to the information, all these people on a boat were going to do farming in Narayani river near Salikpur outpost of Khadda police station area, when the boat suddenly overturned in the river. 10 people including 9 women drowned in the boat. A woman including two teenage girls died in this accident. The rest were rescued safely.

Boat Drowned in Kushinagar: When the accident happened in the morning in the Narayani river, some fishermen were fishing nearby. These fishermen came as angels to the drowning people. Seeing the accident, the fishermen immediately jumped into the river and rescued seven people from the water. But, two girls and a woman were not traced. After which the divers searched a lot in the water and the bodies of all three were recovered. If there were no fishermen, more people could have died.

Announcement of giving Rs 5 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased
Boat Drowned in Kushinagar: Rescue teams including DM and SP of the district reached the spot as soon as the boat capsized in the river. During this the MLAs of the area also reached the spot. The district administration has announced financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of those killed in the accident.
