Congress should not add mafia to ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’

Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said today that Congress should not involve mafia in ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. Mishra said during the discussion with reporters that the police was deployed under security during the visit of Leader of Opposition Govind Singh. The incident which took place under Maharajpura Police Station of Gwalior is related to the dispute of liquor mafia. The police has arrested the criminal.

He said that the Congress party is requested not to include mafia in this yatra. Yesterday, during this Congress visit in Gwalior district, a man had pointed a gun at a youth. Leader of the Opposition Singh was also involved in this yatra at that time. It is being told that the accused Jeetu Gurjar pointed a gun at Chotu Tomar, son of local councilor Kamlesh Tomar, who was involved in the yatra due to some dispute. During this there was chaos, after which the police arrested the accused. (talk)
