The United Kisan Morcha (SKM) has called for a Bharat Bandh on 27 September against the agricultural laws. Regarding this bandh, the national president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Bhanu) Bhanu Pratap Singh has raised questions and called it Talibani. He said, those who are announcing Bharat Bandh, they should tell that for what benefit of the farmers they are doing it. He said that these people want to increase Taliban activities in the country.

Opposing the Bharat Bandh, Bhanu Pratap Singh released a video, in which he said, “I call upon all the office bearers of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Bhanu) from the block to the tehsil, district, mandal, state, for this Protest against Bharat Bandh, don’t support anyone.” Referring to the violence at Red Fort on 26 January this year, he said, “I also want to request the government, that such organizations which are involved in terrorist activities, their government should take care of them, and try to suppress them. “

Let us inform that Bhanu Pratap Singh’s organization had participated in the farmers’ movement against the agricultural laws, but after the violence of 26 January, he distanced himself from it and ended his movement. Since then, he has given statements about Rakesh Tikait many times. Earlier in March 2021, Bhanu Pratap alleged that the agitating organizations on Delhi’s Ghazipur border, Singhu border, Tikri border have been sent by Congress.

He said that we got information only on 26 January that these organizations are getting funds from Congress. In which the police were attacked on 26 January and the second flag was hoisted at the Red Fort. From that day onwards we ended this movement and came back.

At the same time, many political parties have also supported the Bharat Bandh called by the United Kisan Morcha on Monday. Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi have also supported this bandh. At the same time, the Congress has also said that it will join the protest on Monday.
