BJP will not allow second Shiv Sena to be formed

Bharatiya Janata Party is wasting time in Maharashtra. Only then it is possible that the term of the assembly may not be completed and the BJP goes to the polls. Remember how many times in the past the Congress party has done such a thing that it has formed the government by supporting the smaller party and brought down the government according to its convenience. BJP is following exactly the same line. To topple the Maha Vikas Aghadi government of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress, he rebelled against the angry Eknath Shinde within the Shiv Sena and made him the Chief Minister. But such a control has been placed on them that they are not able to do anything with their mind.

Even a month after the formation of the government, the ministers could not be sworn in for 10 days. After 40 days of Shinde becoming the Chief Minister and Devendra Fadnavis as the Deputy Chief Minister, 18 ministers were sworn in, and the portfolios could not be divided even after several days. All this work is being done to undermine Shinde’s authority as there was no confusion within the BJP about the number of ministers and the portfolios. There is also no possibility of any rebellion within the BJP. So, the delay in cabinet formation or the allocation of portfolios has created a message that Shinde is out of control and he is worried that party MLAs may return to the Uddhav Thackeray camp.

Basically the strategy of the BJP is to keep the Eknath Shinde faction weak so that another Shiv Sena cannot arise. Think, if BJP’s goal is to eliminate Shiv Sena then why will it create another Shiv Sena? If the BJP has to keep its monopoly on the Hindutva vote, then it is necessary that the Shiv Sena led by Uddhav Thackeray should end and the Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde should not be able to stand. At present, the party seems to be working on this plan.

Informed sources say that the decision to confiscate the name and election symbol of Uddhav Thackeray’s party can be taken in the coming days. After that both Uddhav and Shinde will fight on new name and new symbol. The BJP’s rapport with Shinde can last till the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. After that BJP will go to the elections by dissolving the assembly on some pretext. BJP will share seats on the basis of performance in other municipal corporations including BMC. BJP’s effort is to win more seats by fighting on more seats so that it can reach near majority or get majority on its own like in 2014. If everything goes according to BJP’s script, elections should be held early next year. But the script can also go wrong. If the BJP feels that the alliance between Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress is not ending, then it will postpone the election.
