Jaipur. Rajasthan Cross Voting BJP : In the Rajya Sabha elections, the issue of cross voting in Rajasthan was gaining momentum. Now according to the latest information, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expelled its MLA Shobharani Kushwaha, who did ‘cross voting’ in the Rajya Sabha elections in Rajasthan. Om Pathak, the secretary of the party’s Central Disciplinary Committee, sent this information to the MLA by sending a letter. In the letter, it has been told to the MLA that you are expelled from the party with immediate effect and also relieved from other responsibility given by the party.

Rajasthan Cross Voting BJP : According to the letter, Kushwaha, being an MLA of the party, will take separate action for violation of discipline. Let us inform that in the Rajya Sabha elections held on June 10, Kushwaha had done ‘cross voting’ in favor of Congress candidate Pramod Tiwari in violation of the party whip. The BJP had issued a show cause notice on the same day suspending Kushwaha from the party.

Kushwaha, who became an MLA for the second time, is the wife of former BSP MLA BL Kushwaha. Her husband was disqualified as an MLA in December 2016 after being convicted in a murder case. In the 2017 by-election, BJP gave ticket to Shobharani and she won. He retained this victory in the 2018 assembly elections as well.
