Anurag Thakur launches special cleanliness drive

New Delhi.Union Minister Anurag Thakur launched a special cleanliness drive here on Wednesday under the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’. The objective of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ is to collect 10 million kilograms of plastic waste across the country.

Thakur, Minister of Information, Broadcasting, Sports and Youth Affairs, launched the campaign on October 1 in Prayagraj through Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan and institutions affiliated to the National Service Scheme. This campaign is going on in 744 districts across the country.

“We have already collected 84 lakh kg plastic waste in 18 days and to achieve the target,” Thakur told reporters after participating in the cleanliness drive near the ‘Town Hall’ in Old Delhi. are ready for.
