The Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress heavily cashed in on Majithia’s case and even made election promises of putting him behind the bars if he came to the government. The Akali Dal was badly defeated in this election, but Majithia managed to save his seat. After this the Amarinder Singh government came to power, but there was a special action against Majithia, but after the confrontation of Navjot Singh Sidhu, when Amarinder resigned and Charanjit Singh Channi became the Chief Minister, he filed a case against Majithia and now Majithia. Police is searching.
