The Congress party has accepted the resignation of senior Congress leader and Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee President Kumari Selja. After which the Congress high command has appointed Dalit leader Udaybhan as the new President of Haryana Congress. Let us tell you that only last week, Kumari Selja resigned from the post of state president after meeting Sonia Gandhi.

These four leaders were made working president
After the resignation of Kumari Selja, the Congress has appointed Udaybhan as the new President of Haryana Congress and has also made four working presidents. In which Shruti Chaudhary, Ram Kishan Gujjar, Jitendra Kumar Bhardwaj and Suresh Gupta have been appointed by the party to this post. Udaybhan belongs to the former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda faction. The Hooda faction had been demanding for a long time to make the state president the leader of its camp.

It is worth noting that, for the last several days, there was a situation of internal dispute in the Haryana Congress. After which former Congress President Rahul Gandhi also met the party leaders of Haryana and advised them to work together. With this, former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda had recommended the removal of Kumari Selja and handing over the command to his son Deepender Hooda.
