Lucknow News: In view of the possibilities of third wave of Coronavirus, after the state government started giving vaccine to adolescents from 15 to 18 years from today, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that children should be given corona vaccination. They should be discharged from school on the day of vaccination and on the next day to induce (corona vaccination of children). Whereas on the other hand, on the very first day, more than 1.50 lakh children worked to get the corona vaccine cover. It is noteworthy that the vaccine is being given to the children of 15 to 18 years at 39 centers in the capital Lucknow.

It is also necessary to mention here that under the age group of 18 years, more than 20 crore 25 lakh vaccine doses have been given so far in the state. 12 crore 84 lakh 94 thousand 516 people have taken the first dose of vaccine and 7 crore 40 lakh 93 thousand 819 people have taken both the doses. The new variant Omicron is being feared to cause a third wave of infections.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that as much as one is careful and alert from the disease, it is the best way to prevent it. The State Government is maintaining constant contact and dialogue with the Government of India in this direction. Various departments including the Health Department and Medical Education Department of the State Government are jointly taking forward a big campaign. We have sufficient number of beds, vaccine is also available. The state currently has the capacity to conduct 4 lakh corona tests per day. The state government is fully aware and alert about corona control in every way.

So far 8 cases of Omicron have been reported in the state, out of which 3 cases have already turned negative. The rest are in home isolation. There are a total of 2,261 active cases of Kovid-19 in the state (Active Corona case in UP). Of these, more than 2,100 are in home isolation. Having so many cases in home isolation shows that the virus has weakened. Now it doesn’t have that much effect. But we have to be careful and careful.

Today and tomorrow on January 4, in view of Kovid-19, health services are being rehearsed, under which all health equipments are being seen.
