IPL 2021: Rajasthan Royals have suffered a major setback before the second half of the Indian Premier League season 14. England’s star batsman Jos Buttler will not join Rajasthan Royals for the second part of IPL 14. Rajasthan Royals have roped in New Zealand’s emerging wicket-keeper batsman Glenn Phillips as a replacement for Buttler.

Jos Butler’s wife is going to give birth to her second child soon. Jos Buttler has decided to stay away from the second half of IPL 14 to spend more time with his family. Rajasthan Royals tweeted about Butler’s unavailability.

Philip may prove to be a good replacement

Glenn Phillip though can prove to be a good replacement for Rajasthan Royals. Philip has so far scored 505 runs in 25 International T20 matches at a strike rate of around 150, including a century and two half-centuries. Philip is also known for his fast batting.
