Big accident! Konark Express hit 6 people in Andhra Pradesh, died on the spot, many injured

Amravati | Andhra Pradesh News: A big painful accident has happened in Andhra Pradesh. In which 6 people have died in a very frightening way. Six people have died after being hit by Konark Express in Srikakulam district of the state late on Monday night. There has been a stir in the railway administration after this accident.

According to the police, the incident took place when the Guwahati-bound Superfast Express had stopped midway due to a technical problem at Batuva village. Some people had got down on the railway track and were walking on the tracks. Meanwhile, the Konark Express coming from the other side caught these people. In which 6 people died. According to the Srikakulam Superintendent of Police, six bodies have been identified.

Andhra Pradesh News: It has come to the notice that this incident took place between G Sigdam and Chipurapalli railway stations at around 9 pm on Monday night. There was chaos at the spot after the incident. Meanwhile, some passengers of Coimbatore-Silchar Express stopped the train by pulling chains in the central section of Visakhapatnam-Palasa main line. Those injured in this accident are being treated at the hospital.

Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has condoled the incident. Along with this, the officials have also been instructed to start relief work and provide proper medical facilities to the injured.
