BH subway stations go on strike
Union promises total stoppage; justice orders minimum operation.
The subway stations in Grande BH dawned this Wednesday (05) closed and with posters indicating strike.
According to the Subway Workers Union (Sindimetro-MG) , an assembly held on September 30th decided for a total stoppage from this Wednesday (05) until 0:00 am on Friday (07). There will then be a total stoppage of 48 hours and the promise is to return on Friday (07) with full operation.
Companhia Brasileira de Trens Urbanos (CBTU-MG) reported that it obtained, on Tuesday afternoon (4), a decision in favor of the request for an increase in the daily fine of R$35 thousand reais, to be applied to SindiMetro-MG, if disobeyed. the court order granted by the Regional Labor Court of the 3rd Region, on 08/25, which requires a minimum scale of 60% of trips made daily.
