Samastipur. In Bihar, a number of armed criminals tried to rob the bank in broad daylight today in IDBI Bank located on Mohanpur road of Samastipur Nagar police station area. . Police sources said here on Monday that a number of six armed criminals attempted to rob the bank but the criminals could not succeed in the robbery due to the sounding of alarms by the bank personnel and protest by the security guards. After which the criminals injured the security guard by hitting him on the head with the butt of a pistol and fled from the spot.
Sources said that during the escape, the criminals also fired several rounds. At the same time, as soon as the information of the incident was received, Superintendent of Police Hridayakant reached the bank and investigated the matter. The entire incident of robbery has been captured in CCTV. Based on the CCTV footage, the police is conducting raids to arrest the criminals.
