Bank Holidays: In the middle of the festive season, if you have any work related to the bank, then this is the news of your work. From tomorrow i.e. from October 12, there will be no work in banks of many cities for 9 consecutive days (Bank Holidays in October 2021). The list of bank holidays is issued every month by the Reserve Bank of India. If you also have to go to the bank in the coming days or have any work related to banking, then settle it today. Bank Holidays List
- October 12 – Banks will remain closed in Agartala and Kolkata on account of Durga Puja Saptami.
- 13 October – Banks will remain closed in Agartala, Kolkata as well as Bhubaneswar, Gangtok, Guwahati, Patna and Ranchi due to Durga Puja’s Maha Ashtami.
- October 14 – Due to Durga Puja Navami, banks will not function in Agartala, Bhubaneshwar, Kolkata, Gangtok, Guwahati, Kanpur, Lucknow, Shillong, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Patna and Ranchi.
- October 15 – Banks across the country will remain closed due to Dussehra, but on this day, there will be work in banks of Imphal and Shimla.
- October 16 – Banks will remain closed in Gangtok due to Durga Puja.
- October 17 – Banks across the country will be closed due to Sunday.
- October 18 – Due to Kati Bihu, the banks of Guwahati will remain closed.
- October 19 – Banks in Hamdabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Chennai, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram will remain closed due to Eid-e-Milad.
- October 20 – Banks in Agartala, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Kolkata and Shimla will remain closed on account of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti.

Apart from this, due to Sunday on October 3, there was no work in the banks. On October 6, Mahalaya Amavasya – Banks were closed in Agartala, Bangalore and Kolkata. Banks were closed on 7 October at Mira Chaoren Houba of Liningthou Sanamhi- Imphal. There was no work in the bank due to the second Saturday of the month on 9 October and Sunday on 10 October.
