Bangladesh: Teacher refuses to accept ‘Holy Quran’ as based on science, blasphemy law…

Dhaka | Bangladesh Quran Controversy : India has contributed a lot in making India’s neighboring country Bangladesh, but the laws here are as strict as other Islamic countries. The latest case has come to light from Munshiganj in Bangladesh where the teacher has been jailed for blasphemy. It has been told that a teacher named Binodpur Ram Kumar in Hriday Chandra Mandal was teaching mathematics to the students of class 10 for the last 21 years in the high school. He had made alleged remarks against the Prophet on March 20. After which action has been taken against him and sent to jail. The teacher has been accused of blasphemy.

Bangladesh Quran Controversy : According to the news published in a leading Bangladeshi newspaper, the teacher had allegedly said that the Prophet was a clever man. He wrote a holy book about himself and spread it. He had to go to jail for making this alleged derogatory remark against Islam. The matter has caught so much weight that his family members are living life in an atmosphere of fear. Meanwhile, writer Taslima Nasreen tweeted that Quran is based on science and Muhammad Sahib was a great scientist of the world.

Bangladesh Quran Controversy : It has been told that some students had complained in writing to the Principal against the accused teacher. During this some students demonstrated after which the teacher was detained. Ms. Nasreen has said in this whole matter that ‘a science teacher is in jail because he does not accept that the Quran is based on science and Muhammad was a great scientist of the world. Mohammad Asad Miya, an employee of the school, has lodged an FIR against the teacher and said that he has shown religion below.
