Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari sentenced to 5 years, found guilty in gangster case

Lucknow | Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari: Uttar Pradesh’s Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari has been convicted in the gangster case. After which Mukhtar Ansari has been fined Rs 50,000 while declaring the sentence of 5 years.

Let us inform that, on Friday, the Lucknow Bench of the High Court has also convicted Mukhtar Ansari in a 23-year-old case under the Gangster Act. The FIR of this case was registered in the year 1999 at Hazratganj police station. There are about 59 cases pending against Ansari at different places.

Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari: A single bench of Justice Dinesh Kumar Singh passed this decision on the appeal of the state government. Earlier on Wednesday, Mukhtar Ansari was sentenced to 7 years in a case. For the first time in 1988, Mukhtar’s name had cropped up in the murder of contractor Sachchidanand Rai over the contracting of Mandi Parishad. After this, Ansari was also accused of killing Constable Rajendra Singh, brother of Tribhuvan Singh.

Baahubali is a repository of police cases against Mukhtar Ansari. There are 59 cases registered against the mafia in many districts. Most of these 59 cases are registered in Ghazipur district. Apart from this, 9-9 cases are also registered against Mukhtar in Mau and Varanasi. He has been sentenced to seven years in Lucknow and in one case registered in Amlambagh.

Five-time MLA
Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari: Mukhtar Ansari contested the assembly elections for the first time in 1996 and won it. After this, Ansari continued to make a record of victory and became MLA five times till 2017. After this he handed over his seat to his son in the 2022 assembly elections.
