New Delhi | Ghulam Nabi Azad meets Sonia Gandhi: After the Congress’s humiliating defeat in the assembly elections in five states, the party high commands have lost their sleep. In such a situation, Congress Party President Sonia Gandhi is in action mode and is constantly taking classes of leaders to account for the defeat. Sonia Gandhi has also demanded the resignation of the state presidents of the five states, after which Navjot Singh Sidhu has resigned. Meanwhile, senior Congress leader and G-23 group member Ghulam Nabi Azad is expected to meet Sonia Gandhi at 10 Janpath on Thursday.

Let us tell you that, Sonia Gandhi held a meeting with the MPs of Punjab on Wednesday and took stock of the reasons for the defeat of the Aam Aadmi Party. According to sources, various allegations and counter allegations were made in the meeting, along with it was said that the public comments of Navjot Singh Sidhu and Sunil Jakhar caused huge damage to the party during the assembly elections.
