Alex Carey has been placed ahead of Josh Inglis to replace Tim Paine. He will now be the 461st player to play Tests for Australia. George Bailey, chairman of the selection committee, said, “Carrie has been a frequent part of the Australian team in white ball cricket and ODIs. He is a great cricketer and I sincerely hope that his addition will give new strength to the Test team as well.”
