Bhopal, The proceedings of the House were adjourned sine die today after completing all the legislative business and the Monsoon session as scheduled in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly today amid uproar over the alleged nutritional food scam and the issue of security of two MLAs. It was completed two days before.
Earlier, the question hour could not even be held due to the uproar. The proceedings of the House were first adjourned for 10 minutes and later till 12 noon for the Question Hour. Starting the Question Hour, the Leader of the Opposition, Dr. Govind Singh, raising the issue of nutritional food scam, said that Asandi has assured to discuss the adjournment motion in this matter. This should be discussed. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra said that the members of the opposition did not hear the Chief Minister’s statement in the House on Wednesday. No assurance has been given of discussion on the adjournment motion. Due to the uproar over this issue, the proceedings of the House had to be adjourned for the first time for ten minutes.
