India had given Sri Lanka a target of 174 runs in 20 overs, which they achieved in 19.5 overs. Sri Lanka needed seven runs from the last over. Arshdeep Singh gave only five runs in the first four balls, but the Sri Lankan batsmen won by running for two runs due to an overthrow on the fifth ball. After losing both their first Super-4 matches, India are now dependent on other teams to reach the final of the Asia Cup.
