Army jawan shot dead by psychological militants in J&K’s Anantnag

A Territorial Army jawan in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag was shot dead by psychological militants on Friday. The jawan had gotten back home on leave and was shot dead by two neighborhood terrorsists associated to be with the LeT, sources said.

An Indian Army jawan, who had returned home on leave, was shot dead by psychological oppressors in Anantnag area of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, police said.

Mohammad Saleem Akhoon, the 35-year-old Territorial Army trooper was shot at by fear mongers at his home in Jabli Pora town of Anantnag’s Bijbehara Tehsil, an army official said.

Saleem was raced to the emergency clinic however was proclaimed brought dead, the authority said.

As indicated by sources, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) fear based oppressors are suspected to be behind the assault.

“He was on leave when two neighborhood psychological oppressors, suspected to be from LeT, went to his home and shot him. The trooper was hurried to clinic Bijbehara from where he was alluded to GMC Srinagar, notwithstanding, he was pronounced brought dead at GMC,” sources said.
